Doesn’t it just feel so exciting and refreshing that in a couple of weeks, the coats and jackets and boots will be replaced with light blouses, tank tops, denim shorts, flowy fabrics on skirts and a whole lot of skin. My most exciting South African summer wear must be the bright, big floral or one coloured dresses.  Especially in fuchsia pink. A short pink fuchsia dress is the most eye catching summer dress for me and today’s post will mostly be about what to buy this summer and where I got this personality filled gem of a dress.

As I grow, I find it increasingly sexy to be able to wear whatever I want and my man to be happy with it, regardless. I however do know that certain dresses cannot be worn to just anywhere. There are occasions for certain dresses. This dress can be worn at a night out, out clubbing, with friends at a cocktail event and fun but intimate outdoor photo shoots out in the park. The dress is short. But spring is here and what better way to celebrate it than but buying the perfect sexy short pink fuchsia dress for summer to say farewell to cold and gray winter.

Summer bodies

The problem with summer is that not all of us have summer bodies to show off once summer has hit us in the face. And id normally say, girl, get back in the gym but today calls for a different kind of conversation. So i won’t say it. Rather, there are ways of conquering south African summer other than long hours in the gym. For instance, if you have cellulite, of course, go to the gym to tighten those thighs. In the meantime, go get yourself fishnet stockings and ROCK that sexy short pink fuchsia dress.

If the tummy is your main area of anxiety, while you busy contemplating the gym, how about consider a figure belt, aka Waist trainer. To give the possible ‘illusion’ of a thinner waist? I’m not wearing one now, but I used to wear it, I wore the belt on a ‘need-to-do’ basis.  I strongly believe in staying fit and active and in shape but disagree with making yourself feel inferior just because you haven’t achieved your South African summer body goals yet. That’s why I included the golden crown as an accessory. I’m an incredible woman, I am not perfect and I make mistakes but I am A QUEEN regardless of my size, my height or my colour.

Love your winter body

Love your winter body as well as your summer body and when you feel comfortable enough, get back at working at it.  But summer dresses must be bought, worn and enjoyed and no cellulite, fupa or stretch marks formed against us will make us hide ourselves from the warm enjoyable South African Summer.

Life is too short to wear boring clothes. When I first got this fuchsia, hot pink dress, I was excited. First, the dress took three days to get to me, from SUPERBALIST but I was excited that I could eventually wear it over the weekend. When shopping for dresses online, I look for a size a little bigger. And if its stretch material and I also look for form hugging dresses to accentuate my figure. What initially attracted me to this dress was the dress details. It has frills on the side and the shoulder party is eye catching. I’ve seen tons of women online on Instagram and twitter and YouTube highlighting their shoulders and colour bones in sweat heart dresses. This dress allowed me to do that, even if it’s not a sweetheart dress

Put even the plainest woman into a beautiful dress and unconsciously she will try to live up to it.   Being in a sexy dress gives one confidence, especially a dress that makes you look desirable. SIDE NOTE:  The clothes you wear and the way you groom yourself will change the way other people hear what you say and how they will look at you. It will subconsciously tell them if you’re like them or if you’re different. It will determine whether they listen or ignore. Trust or distrust. And if you are impeccable, classy and sexy, a lot more people will be able to relate to you and think you are sexy, impeccable, just like them
