THE PRETORIA SOCIAL MARKET
I wasn’t too keen on going to the Pretoria Social Market this time around. I know its spring but on this particular day it wasn’t springy. The weather had decided to be gloomy; the sun was either hiding or refused to come out, I even had a totally different outfit planned for this day but I couldn’t wear it because of fear of hyperthermia and the nagging and aching feeling of being cold.
We got there around 3 pm. It was still cold, but the sun managed to shine upon us once or twice during the afternoon for what seemed like less than 10 minutes at each interval but that didn’t faze us, we kept warm by dancing the day away…
The tickets to the social Market where R50 this time. We got in and saw a couple of items we liked like the cute bowties and their sisters, the bow tie rings etc. But what really got me excited were items on display by PINE APPAREL. I liked their stunners but they have a lot more to offer. They are a Pop up Boutique based in Maboneng. Check them out HERE
The Pretoria social Market is a brilliant event, it caters for funky and on trend people. The thing is if you really want to buy something at the Pretoria Social Market, you should try get there in the morning, when they first open. That way you get to pick the items you like before the partying and the black outs begin. LOL
We really enjoyed ourselves, Siyabonga and I. The vibes were cool, the food delicious, the fashion on trend and the music banging, an awesome way to just hang out, be bohemic, look hella awesome, meet people, long lost friends and spend money, I mean… why not, it only happens once a month, might as well just go all out.
Ok, now my outfit. I’m going to start with the Cartoon Clutch Bag. #HappySigh.. This Lady is so talented I literally screamed and jumped up and down when I first saw the bag. I was soo in awe, making this the perfect bag to carry to such events. Fun Quirky, Fun, Quirky, On trend, stylish, fashionable. Wait, did I say fun and quirky? Oh Em Gee.
