Fashion designer to know in the present fashion climate of South Africa is the fashion designer Sweetie. It’s refreshing to see great and fresh fashion in fashion shows to distract us a but from the already established one. Well, I can’t really say if the Sweetie collection/ designer is well established or not as I couldn’t find a social media link of their company and if anyone knows Sweetie Fashion designer instagram/ Facebook or twitter, please comment below. Social media or not, here are the 5 reasons you should be following the sweetie fashion designer.

The collection that Sweetie Fashion presented at the MBFWCT 17 was mind blowing. The collection was especially colourful which reminded me of a packet of all assorted sweets. The name says it all.

The sweetie collection, even if it is colourful, also as elements of class as well as maturity. The dress lengths seem appropriate for work wear as well as classy soirées or High-Teas in posh urban, we furnished gardens. The Sweetie collection is perfect to wear to an upmarket event.

The detailing on the Sweetie Collection is luxurious, reminding me the Dolce and Gabanna collection showcased at NEWORK Fashion week recently. Any garment that looks like it took a while to design and put together is a garment worth wearing.

Although didn’t include some of the men’s wear at the Sweetie Fashion show for MBFWCT 17, The men’s wear was also top notch. I saw detailing in the jacket suit and pants and the detailing does not border n female wear. It’s just expensive, over the top men’s wear to wear on special occasions or just because you can.
