Rage Mini Skirt, ‘Taking off the clothes’ at A Pretoria Roof top shoot
This shoot was taken on the same day as the blue skirt and the sheer blouse on the previous post. Remember when I said i wobbled to where my other shoes were? Yes… all for this, to change from the neon yellow to the bright pink shoes and the rage mini skirt for a pretoria rooftop shoot
Doing a photo shoot with different outfits on the roof isn’t simple. First of all, there are no change rooms, plus we didn’t ask for permission to be there so we couldn’t exactly just go to the security guards and ask them for the change room access ,right? Also, we were running out of time, a couple more things had to be done before the end of the day. There was no time to go down stairs and change, then come back up again. So, we did the unthinkable:WE DID A WARDROBE CHANGE ON THE ROOF TOP.
LOL, guys, keep calm; we didn’t get naked. But, if you have ever seen a girl do a quick change in the car or on her way to SA Fashion week, or a couple of glamorous events back to back, you will know what I mean.
At some point during this shoot, the wind blew and the skirt started to flair. What I like about the skirt is that, because it’s pleated, it didn’t flair too much and was able to cover my booty; keeping my dignity intact.
We loved the rooftop and we might bring you guys a couple more shoots, who knows? But, for now, this is the last one for this series.
And… just like that, it’s a wrap. And, with a tiny change of a few items in your wardrobe, you can turn a very sophisticated outfit into a more simple, whimsical one perfect for the summer, and as the stranger sitting right next to me as I type this article said: “it’s sexy but not slutty.”
Outfit of the Day:
This summer, fill up your wardrobe with statement pieces from RAGE. The blouse is rage and so is the Rage Mini skirt. The shoes from Next and the bag from KGANYA ACCESSORIES (Ndu Tlou), images curtesy of Siyabonga Mfuphi
