I had the pleasure of receiving a press drop from Pongracz this past week. The tasty gift (Pongracz Brut Rose) came with a beautiful clutch bag designed by Thuleka Duze. This perfect collaboration between two SA brands, ATG Ekasi. This brand founded by Gugulethu designer Thuleka Duze, and Pongrácz has resulted in me receiving two beautiful gifts which will make a bold style statement. #poppingpongracz #BeBold #AnewBold
The wine displays a delicate salmon pink colour with rich yeasty, toasty aromas and lovely ripe fruit. The palate has a dramatic entry of a myriad of tiny bubbles which settle into a decadent mouth feel of cassis flavoured fruit with a lovely long toasty finish.
The Brut Rosé is composed of the classic noble varietals of Champagne namely Chardonnay (60%) and Pinot noir (40%). The Chardonnay imparts a clean flintiness, whilst the Pinot noir lends structure, which releases a unique taste and a captivating salmon pink hue. It is not only a wonderful aperitif but a lovely wine to enjoy with food as well.
I used to like sweet sparkling wines, I still do but I try to stick to the dry sparkling wines, just helps my figure ?. Pongracz Brut Rose will make you feel good. But that goes without saying, I mean, its Sparkling wine. If you’re feeling a little grumpy, Pongracz Brut Rose will lift your spirits, when taken in moderation. To enhance its benefits, pair Sparkling wine with your favourite festive, carefree dish. The crisp flavors of Pongracz Brut match perfectly with hearty meals, especially the truffle and mushroom risotto – and, last but not least, the Brut Rose will boost your happiness further when you include Red Velvet Cheese Cake in the mix.
Pongracz Brut Rose is the perfect blend of Pongracz Brut and Pongracz Rose.
