SA FASHION WEEK 2015; AVENGERS-AGE OF ULTRON

MARVEL INSPIRED – ROMAN HANDT SA FASHION WEEK 2015

This collection by Roman Handt was for me the cream of the crop of SA Fashion Week. His collection exceeded expectations and fuelled my desire to pre book tickets for the new Avengers Movie: Age of Ultron.

The collection begins with short snippets of what we all know is the comic strip intro that accompanies all  Marvel Movies, Ultron then speaks and immediately after is loud  music, then the fashion show. I could have sworn I was seated at IMAX but I wasn’t. I was seated by the gallery where everyone takes pictures. I wore the wrong dress for the gallery but I’m glad I sat there. Its the  21st  of March 2015 and I wanted to take my own pictures this night for no apparent reason. I’m sitting as conservative as possible aware of the short dress possible issues, adjusting myself and the camera and there, in the far distance comes this great creature of a man whose abs look like rocks wearing a very colorful, what looks like a onezie,open in the middle, by the abs,for all of us to see, in yellow, greens and greys, with a mask.

FYI- This collections is clearly not for the ones who don’t go to the gym LOL. If Roman wanted us to see power in his designs he definitely achieved that. The collection is so breath taking if I was taking a video you would have heard my gasps in aaaaahs and oooohs and, oh my gosh, that’s hot. One piece I definitely would not mind my man wearing is the total  grey one  with the green waves on the back and front plus the three quarter pants . Awesome. Daring.

There is a reason why MARVEL is huge worldwide; it symbolizes the superhero within us and we all relate and these pieces by Roman Handt are his representation, if I may say so myself, of his super human nature.
