PINK CROP TOP
The RVK Spring/Summer 2015 Fashion show was entertaining. Held at the Station Lounge, very close to the Pretoria GAUTRAIN Station, was not too hard to find.
The evening started off with a performance by a Malawian artist and progressed to include other performances from Nigeria and the like; very well received I must say. I thought that was brilliant considering the upsetting xenophobic violence we have witnessed in South Africa during the previous couple of months.
There were a couple of Collections that blew everyone one away especially Nokwakha Fashion Creators from Pretoria. I’ve loved her Collections ever since the last RVK Fashion week. This time she didn’t disappoint and even got a standing ovation from the crowd as she did her final walk but more on that in my next post.
My outfit to the RVK Fashion week is by the Ever so creative Fashion Designer (Athalia Pilane (Ramoroka). I stopped by her office after work before the show for my fittings and was in awe at how cute and pretty the skirt/ Tutu was. But the outfit wasn’t complete so I asked for a simple crop top not knowing that the crop would have so much detail to it! You can imagine by excitement, gosh, her talent is overwhelming
I’m such a hopeless romantic I I immediately fell in love with it as it reminded me of a whimsical girl going on a date with a guy she likes for the first time . Ok, enough about me ranting and raving about this Peach Tutu and fuchsia pink Crop. You guys can order yours or anything else for that matter just give her a call and set up an appointment – Athalia Pilani +27 82 699 4540 BTW she has a fashion show on the 12th of September in Pretoria CBD, you are welcome to stop by.
