FASHION BLOGGERS at Harem Night Club, Kong Rosebank and Cubana Fourways

The Africa Music Concert held this past weekend in Johannesburg was amazing! Well… We didn’t exactly go but
we were told how amazing it was and experienced a little FOMO. We however attended the after party at KONG Night club as well as at Harem. The two clubs are very close together so we could choose without the stress of travelling too far away where we wanted to hang out. The two clubs being very close together allows us to club hop if things get dull and this factor saves us petrol. Imagine if we were club hopping the whole night to different parts of the very vast and large johannesburg. That would have been too expensive for our ‘just started working’ clubing budget.

The lineup for the after party at Harem included most of the artist that performed earlier at the EXPO CENTRE, in Nasrec,  but we only managed to see Wizkid and Cassper Nyovest and for the rest of the evening all we could hear were songs being sung by their owners but we could not see their faces, was too packed. Lol at one point Noluvo said she felt like a Sardine in a very tight tin. Lol I agreed…

We had so much fun we didn’t notice that it was almost four AM when we left the club. We were happy that we had enjoyed ourselves to the fullest and had an awesome night out. Some not so positive experiences included my weave ending up smelling like Cigars, my dress LOL the same, the fashion was lost 4 hours when the fun started and both Vivi and I had sore feet from dancing in heels for what seemed like hours.

Noluvo and I have been friends for about nine years, way before i started Fashion blogging. My sister and I had recently moved to a new apartment, more like a commune, somewhere in Pretoria Central and we had met a friend that also lived in the same flat, his name was Abongile. Our Xhosa friend Abongile was friends with Noluvo and she had recently moved to Pretoria to pursue her studies at University of Pretoria. Abongile thought it would be awesome for her to hang out with some of his friends, meaning my sister and me, and so one day he introduced us and that’s how we met. I learned a lot of things about beauty from her and now we share fashion and beauty tips. #MakesSenseRight? 🙂

Our friendship has always been about encouraging each other… she’s that kind of friend to me.  We all have that one friend that goes AWOL for months but you know that when you guys meet you will have lots and lots to talk about.

Noluvo will always be a close friend to me and why am I getting all emotional writing this article??? OK, Not even sure why I’m sharing so much but what I am sure about is the lessons I have learned over the years, lessons of gratitude. If you don’t tell your friends how important they are to you or show them that you appreciate them, they will never know.
