I’m driven by emotions. I decide what to do with my heart. I decide whom to love depending on how they make me feel. It’s not a rational choice, as some may think, it’s very irrational. To pick whom I love, there must  first be an attraction, then the butterflies, then the more rational things start to take precedence in my mind. Does he have money, is he ok or filthy rich, is he loving to others, how deep is his pride, what are his views on feminism, does he respect his mother, is he a family man, what are his thoughts on strip clubs, to whom does he pray to, what does he do when he is stressed,  can I survive with him or can I LIVE with him and by living, I mean, not simply surviving but enjoying life. Once those questions have been answered, I make a decision, a well-informed decision, even thou it’s a decision made by my heart, which isn’t always rational. But the decision is done.

The launch of Chivas Regal Ultis in Johannesburg was enjoyable but the visuals and what was said about the Chivas Regal Ultis whiskey moved me. Have you ever been moved to do something not because it’s the right thing to do, but because it has touched your mind, stirred something in the head that makes you want to be associated with it? Well, it happened, it happened at the launch.

Don Cheadle is a guy I wanted to meet, take pictures with and write an awesome blog post about the moment, but it didn’t happen that way. The Chivas Regal Ultis launch was packed and obviously, the Iron Man star was surrounded by people in the VIP SECTION. Would I have wanted VIP? Maybe not, you know what they say about your idols, worship them from a-far in case you one day meet them and  they say something contrary to what you believed they would say. So nah. Imagine getting there and asking, may I please get picture , and hearing the response , ‘give me five minutes’, because he’s busy attending to EERBODY else that came to the launch? So in other words, it was nice seeing him, and pictures, some other time.

Don Cheadle did an ok Job representing the brand, as he is the International Brand ambassador of Chivas.  But what moved me are the Visuals they showed, or the ad they showed of the new Chivas Regal Ultis. You can watch the ad HERE. The visuals are engaging, mesmerizing and peaceful but inspiring.

The Chivas Regal Ultis brand recognizes the importance of shared success…  luxury whisky brand Chivas Regal launched a rallying cry to recognize the power of shared success. The latest instalment of the Win the Right Way advertisement campaign features Oscar-nominated actor Don Cheadle (Hotel Rwanda), and is a demonstration of the power and impact of working together to achieve success. It’s interesting how This particular Whiskey brand used the importance of shared success to advertise, a whiskey.  I was SOLD on ‘this is the essence of who we are’ and ‘lets come together and win the right way’.
