Adidas and Game of Thrones have officially partnered up, in anticipation of the last season of HBO Game of Thrones to be viewed in South Africa on Mnet. Adidas has released the 6 pairs of sneakers in collaboration with the Hit Fantasy series, Game of Thrones.
This new collection of Ultra Boost sneakers consists of six distinct pairs that are inspired by various houses and characters from the Golden Globe winning fantasy series: House Stark, House Lannister, the Nights Watch, the White Walkers but the House Targaryen theme has two versions.
Each pair of the exciting collaboration comes with the shows logo inscribed on the insoles of the sneakers as well as each house’s logo and motto printed on the heel tag and tongue. The retail price for the Adidas and Game of Thrones sneakers is $180, which is roughly R2 581,05.
The amazing Adidas and Game of Thrones collaboration drops on March 22 ahead of the final season’s premiere on April 14. South Africans will be able to watch the series together with the rest of the world three hours after April 14, meaning the show will be available on South African TVs on April 15th at 3AM.
Winter is Coming!!! Game of Thrones fans have every right to be excited about these sneakers as well as the opening episode of the last season to air on April 14th, American time.
Ever since the sneaker community knew of the very high stock level of the Yeezy Cream Whites, sneaker fanatics are on the lookout for the next big release. So, knowing that the Adidas Game of Thrones collection will be a limited edition is like a breath of fresh air. And as we all know in this sneaker game, limited means money. And if the sneakers happen to drop around the time when the final season airs, oh the pandemonium of it all! There is not much being said about if the sneaker will be available immediately internationally like the Last Season of Game of Thrones but it would be nice if everyone on the planet had a fair chance of purchasing a limited edition of Adidas and Game of Thrones.
The trailer was released a couple of days ago, and it included Game of Thrones first extended look of the show’s final season. The roughly two-minute preview opened with Arya Stark breathing heavily in darkness and talking of the oncoming threat from the White Walkers and the army of the dead. Arya, played by Maisie Williams, says in the trailer. “I know death. He’s got many faces, I’m looking forward to seeing this one,”
