GROWING MY HAIR; FEATURING HAIR CARE PRODUCT PALMERS COCONUT OIL FORMULA

We, as girls suffer from a thing we call obsession with weaves which in turn, if not done correctly leads to a hair line issue called ‘diminishing hairline’. While this article is not about my existent or none existent hairline, I’m still going to give you some back ground information on how I have been getting my hairline back, AKA GROWING MY HAIR but.. This post is about Shampoo and conditioning for any kind and type of hair, featuring this awesome hair care product PALMERS COCONUT OIL FORMULA.

You haven’t seen me with a weave in a while not because I don’t suffer from the same condition as most girls, called Weave obsession, no.

You haven’t seen me in a weave because of two reasons.

  1. On some of the odd days that I do go to the gym, the sweat does HAVOC to my weave. First of all the sweat can be too much and just drip down from under the weave like someone has poured water all over me which isn’t comfortable, especially when wearing a weave cap. Cant scratch, can’t dry it properly, can’t do proper hair care and weave starts not smelling too fresh after only two weeks of having it in.
  2. The second reason I haven’t been wearing a weave it’s because I wanted my hairline to grow back. Actually, I just wanted to find out different ways of hair care and growing my hair while giving it a breather. I’ve been platting it and really taking care of it, since it’s been out. Now I’m ready to go back to wearing a weave but I now know what I should and what I shouldn’t be doing to my hair while wearing a weave and ill be sharing those important pointers with you guys in the next upcoming posts.

I took out my braids the other day and found out that my hair grew, at least an inch.

I was excited! But I was more excited on trying out the new Palmers Coconut Oil formula, Coconut Oil Deep conditioning Protein Pack. So, still excited with the thought of continuing growing my hair I shampooed it with Palmers Coconut Oil Formula Conditioning Shampoo and I must say, it smelled different to what I’m used to. It smelled like COCONUT!!! Lol Duuurrrhhh.

After the rinse I slathered on Palmers Coconut oil Formula for dry, damaged and colour treated hair and left it on for about 30 minutes in a silver conditioning cap. The results are what you see in these images. My hair felt soft , strong and wavy.

I moisturized it with Aunt Jackie’s Curl mane tenance defining curl whip and sprinkled some my natural hair strengthening oil for natural and relaxed hair.

What I won’t tell you is lies. I will not say that washing and conditioning my hair with Palmers Coconut Oil Formula grew my hair because it’s simply not true. I will say thou that, investing in good hair products will do your hair justice. Hair products that help with growing hair should not be limited to just Hair food. Your hair needs all the love you can give it and if you need to stay a couple of months embracing your natural hair for it to grow, then let it be.

Using one brand for all your hair needs is a totally good idea but sometimes not too practical as my hair has different needs with every hairstyle. When washing my hair I will use Palmers Coconut Oil Formula and when moisturizing it I might use the same brand or go for something different, only you know your hair needs and if you don’t know and have no clue, consult a hair specialist. When I braid my hair I WILL use the Aunt Jackie’s range but I’m a woman and I can change my mind LOL. But whatever I use I will give you my most honest opinion. And sometimes when I don’t have anything nice to say about a product, I will most probably just NOT endorse it on www.beliciousmuse.com.

Very important hair care tip for growing great hair:

If you go to a ‘down town’ salon, carry your own shampoo, carry your own hair food, carry your own oil or better yet, just wash and shampoo your hair at home before going to the ‘down town salon’. ‘Down Town ‘salons usually use cheap hair care products and, when you are on this ‘growing your natural hair’ journey, do it all the way, don’t cut corners.

But this tip for taking your own hair products to salons doesn’t just apply to ‘Down Town ‘Salons. Even some of the most prestigious salons might not have what you use for your hair. Get what I’m saying? Take care of your mane. Be glamorous when you wear weaves but make sure your own natural hair is taken care off. Too many are oblivious to the fact that fast hair growth amino scalp therapy shampoos (of course with no sulfates, no parabens, no DEA) exist. Folks now may experience longer hair and achieve more options. Surely worth looking into it.

If you’re going over hair loss, hair damage, preventing scalp disorders, fast hair growth, hair health generally, very similar ideas come to mind.

Generally, you want to avoid hair treatments and products that use chemicals like parabens, DEA or sulfates.

What is healthy for your hair is beneficial for your skin as well.

Clearly the content here hits the nail in the head for many reasons. It avoids the usual traps and errors too many fall into: buying horrible alternatives. Keep up the great content!
