Ways to take care of weave or grow natural hair: Jamaican Black Castor Oil
A good weave goes hand in hand with a good weave or hair product to keep it looking fresh through the duration of the time that one will have it on. The worst that could happen to a good weave is putting on the wrong kind of weave or hair product on the hair. When a person goes to a salon, depending on the salon, they expect to leave with the best kind of information on how to take care of the hairstyle, regardless of what the hair style is.
Remember that time you didn’t have enough money to pay a hairstylist to come to your house so you did the hair the previous night at the salon, and the hair dresser didn’t tell you how to keep it looking great through the night and you ended up looking like you didn’t spend a cent, the morning of the event? LOL these things happen. But whether you have money or not, hair dressers should give you enough information on how to take care of the hair you are spending so much money on right? RIGHT!
I’ve been killing my weave these past few years by using a product called SILICONE in my hair. The silicone I’m talking about is a bottle of hair oil that costs less than R50. Soo… let’s do the Maths.. How do you expect to take care of your plus R2500 weave with hair oil/ weave oil that costs R50? Its simply not going to work.. Look for high end products to take care of high end hair.
The hair oil product that I’m using now is called The Jamaican BLACK Castor oil that you can get at clicks Stores. DISCLAIMER: Any oil you put on your weave will make the weave heavy, lifeless and greasy so the best type of weave hair care is a leave in conditioner. And if you must add some shine to what may seem like dry Hair, add a drop of This Black Jamaican Castor Oil and style as desired.
I recommend the Jamaican Black castor oil because it has worked for me. Remember NOT to use too much because you WILL regret it, but there are other none oil brands out there that are also good for a weave.
